Alexey Nasybullin: Chess Strategy and a Scientific Approach in Marketing and Events

Our guest, Alexey Nasybullin BWiGA Conference organizer, has over 20 years of experience in marketing and event planning. He began his career at Rubin Kazan, a multiple-time UEFA Champions League participant who has defeated Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Inter Milan. After 7.5 years in football management and marketing, our interviewee went on to organize concerts for stars like Dj Paul van Dyk and car shows. Between these events, Alexey defended his dissertation in sociology.

Since 2016, our interviewee has been organizing IT conferences, from the largest SEO Conference in the CIS region to smaller networking events featuring yachting on the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas for leaders in the web3 and iGaming industries.

LUCKLANDIA (LL): What are your plans for 2026?

Alexey Nasybullin (A.N.): I plan to organize several conferences and side events in different regions, from the Balkans to Southeast Asia. We're starting this year in Belgrade, where we're hosting BWiGA.com  - the Belgrade web3 & iGaming Award - in the prestigious Kula skyscraper. This premium conference format is unique to the region, featuring awards, a pre-party, and an after-party on the Sava River embankment. We expect guests from 30 countries, and over 100 companies will compete in various categories. The jury is also international, including industry leaders from the UK and Germany.

LL: An ambitious start in the region! Why did you choose Belgrade?

A.N.: Serbia is developing the fastest in the Balkans. It is already catching up with Croatia and Slovenia in economic indicators. Belgrade will also soon host EXPO 2027, which will be an excellent growth hub and will attract new investments, companies, and leaders from various countries and niches. The iGaming industry is very developed in the region, while Web3 is just taking its first steps. Anyway, Web3 has a good chance of success in the near future. Similarly, the events industry doesn't have a long history yet, but we have the opportunity to develop and improve it in the Balkans. Not only can we travel to Barcelona or London, but we can also create a movement here in Serbia.

LL: Beside BWiGA Conference, You're also planning other events in Asia and the Caucasus. Why such a wide geographic spread?

A.N.: I'm trying to scale my activities. Asia is currently very interesting and is developing faster than its competitors in many areas. That's why I'm planning a conference in Vietnam on October 22nd, as a large and engaging community has already gathered there. Dubai is consistently a magnet for investors and startups. So I'm planning side events there during the major conferences Token-2049 in late April and Blockchain Life in early December. The Caucasus region is also developing well in the crypto and iGaming sectors. It's also interesting to hold events in Georgia in June.

LL: Do you have time for other activities?

A.N.: During the networking process around conferences, we receive many requests for marketing services and lead generation for our agency, Lead Volume, from web3 projects, startups, and iGaming companies. My team and I try to help various companies with their market promotion. We also plan to launch a development studio, Belgrade.it.com , this year with experienced partners and programmers. Our specialists are capable of developing both blockchain games and slots.

LL: What helps you juggle several areas at once?

A.N.: Chess strategy and a scientific approach. I've been playing chess since I was 4 years old. And, I was even the European champion among school teams 26 years ago. This ancient game taught me step-by-step plan execution and logical thinking. I also used this in my research while writing my dissertation. Later, I received my doctorate in social sciences in Serbia. All this helps with planning and the discipline itself. Especially since for many years I've often had to work outside the office, including traveling to various events, be it a football match, a conference, a concert, or a chess tournament.

LL: I wish you success in BWiGA Conference this year and strength for all your new achievements!

A.N.: I thank your media and wish you prosperity as well!
