BEST WXRLD: How It Became A Premier Global Creator and Brand-activation Agency

In this interview for LUCKLANDIA, Daniela will share how she started her business, what decisions, strategies made BEST WXRLD what is today.

Q: Hello Daniela, for the start, can you share your journey into iGaming and what inspired you to launch your business?

Daniela: My journey in iGaming has been shaped by working across multiple sectors of the industry — from media and events to platform providers, business development, and influencer marketing, most recently as CBDO within another influencer-marketing venture. Every role gave me a different perspective on how the ecosystem operates and helped me build strong relationships across the market.

Launching BEST WXRLD was something I had wanted to do for a long time. The right moment came when I found myself at a crossroads: either pursue another corporate role or finally build something of my own. I realised I already had the experience, the network, and the vision — what remained was believing in myself enough to take that leap. A former partner was instrumental in instilling that conviction, and once it took hold, I committed fully. Looking back, it was the best decision I could have made.

Q: What gap in the market did you identify, and how did your business set out to address it?

Daniela: The gap is quality and commitment. A great deal of the market is transactional — talent and agencies present to close a deal and collect a fee, with little genuine investment in performance thereafter. BESTWXRLD is built on the opposite premise: I work exclusively with talent who are demonstrably dedicated to delivering results. Those who treat the work as a formality are identified quickly and simply aren't extended a second engagement. The standard itself is the differentiator.

Q: What challenges or barriers have you faced in launching or scaling your business, and how did you overcome them?

Daniela: The biggest challenge has been entering a highly competitive market where more established businesses naturally offer a wider range of services. Rather than viewing that as a disadvantage, I've treated it as a reason to be more selective, more committed, and more focused on delivering excellence.

Service portfolios can expand over time. Reputation cannot be rushed. That's why my priority has always been building long-term trust through consistency, professionalism, and the quality of every partnership we take on.

Q: What have been the key decisions, strategies, or turning points that have contributed most to your growth and success?

Daniela: The biggest turning point was choosing not to let rejection define my direction. Throughout my career, every unexpected change ultimately redirected me toward something that expanded my expertise and perspective.

Working across different areas of iGaming allowed me to understand the industry from multiple angles. That adaptability has become one of my greatest strengths, enabling me to evolve alongside the market while staying committed to continuous learning.

Q: What would you like to see the iGaming industry doing more to better support and promote female leadership?

Daniela: In fairness, the industry is already doing a great deal — there is meaningful and growing female presence across its professional circles. My one caution is that visibility should follow substance, not precede it. A platform is only valuable when the person occupying it brings real expertise or a genuinely built personal brand; this applies equally to men and women, and the sector has no shortage of speakers in both categories whose contribution doesn't quite match their billing. True support for female leadership, to my mind, is women actively backing and inspiring other women toward independence and ambition. The conversation has matured well beyond a gendered contest, and I'm entirely confident in women's capacity to lead here.

Q: What changes would you like to see in the iGaming industry more broadly, and what advice would you give to other women looking to launch or scale a business in this space?

Daniela: My advice is to believe in yourself and never allow circumstances—or anyone else—to quietly shrink your ambitions. The opportunities you're looking for won't simply appear; more often than not, you have to create them yourself.

As for the industry, I'd like to see a greater emphasis on quality over visibility. Higher standards, stronger compliance, and more scrutiny would help distinguish businesses that create genuine value from those that simply attract attention. I'd also welcome greater accessibility. The conference circuit has become increasingly expensive, and I'd much rather see fewer events with greater substance than a calendar driven by constant spectacle.

Success shouldn't be measured by the size of a stand or the number of exhibitions attended, but by the quality of a company's work, partnerships, and long-term impact. My hope is for an industry that values substance over perception, where excellence speaks louder than visibility.

LL: Daniela, thank you for your time and for sharing with us your experience and being inspirational and supportive. We wish you success in the future!
